Concept of flexibility, mingling, and openness

A team led by Japanese studio Sou Fujimoto Architects has unveiled images of its competition-winning proposal for a Paris university building filled with trees and plants.

The design, which is based on the idea of flexibility, mingling, and openness, was developed in collaboration with Manal Rachdi OXO Architects and Nicolas Laisné Associates.

The building will be located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris and will house the new campus of the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Paris-Val de Seine.

Sou Fujimoto Architects is known for its innovative and experimental designs, and this project is no exception.

The building will feature a series of interconnected spaces that are filled with trees and plants, creating a unique and inspiring learning environment for students.

The building is expected to be completed in 2025.
